Our founder started from humble beginnings as a self-taught HTML web designer, Facebook pioneer, MIT grad and scientist to curating a large team of digital marketing professionals delivering results for clients.
We are proud to say that BlueHuki is now an award-winning digital marketing agency based in Northern Virginia in the Washington, DC metro area.
The Origins of BlueHuki
Huki is a Hawaiian word that describes the movement of an oar propelling a boat forward in the water. Huki also comes from the legend of Maui pulling the Hawaiian islands from the blue abyss into existence.
In marketing, BlueHuki helps businesses emerge from the abyss online and propels them forward.
Heather Pressler, PhD
My passion for small business started with building the first website and managing marketing for my Dad’s engineering firm in Seattle.
My career path went from training as a scientist at MIT, Johns Hopkins and in labs around the world to a lauded salesperson and full circle back to helping entrepreneurs become more successful.
